John Schneiderman, Lute

"From the Dresden Court to the Parisian Salon"

  • Critically acclaimed virtuoso of plucked-string instruments, John Schneiderman specializes in the performance practice and repertoire of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century guitars and lutes. This program features three baroque lute sonatas as well as 19th century 7-string guitar music of Napoleon Coste and Johann Kasper Mertz.
