Desert Pipes

Desert Pipes is a consort of recorder players sponsored by the American Recorder Society and the Phoenix Early Music Society. Music is primarily selected from the Medieval, Renaissance, and early Baroque eras. Occasional modern pieces are also included. Monthly rehearsals are held on the second Saturday of every month.

Desert Pipes performs at the Devonshire Renaissance Faire, which is held in the fall at Los Olivos City Park. Members wear Renaissance costumes and perform period music. Desert Pipes members also play at local churches and club programs.
